Hey Gott wisst! Thanks for translating the video into Anglo-Saxon. Do you know anyone who could proofread the translation? Cbrown1023 talk 21:34, 13 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Supplementary messages

edit

Hello Gott wisst.

I noticed that you translated the fundraiser's core messages into Anglo-Saxon (ang), thank you for your help! Although the fundraiser is over, your translation work will still be used until next November (when we get new forms).

Unfortunately, there are some missing messages and pages that were not included in the original request. Would you mind translating these supplementary messages too?

Thanks for your help, and please feel free to leave a message on m:Talk:Fundraising 2009/supplementary messages if you have any questions! Cbrown1023 talk 15:56, 21 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

WikiLang

Nice to see more activity on WikiLang. :) PiRSquared17 (talk) 23:25, 8 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, doing what I know. Any idea of the kind of process that would have yet to occur before or if WikiLang were to become a sister project? Gott wisst (talk) 23:28, 8 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
Aside from attracting lots of support, it would need a logo and its name would need to be chosen (unless you just want to use WikiLang, which used to refer to another wiki). PiRSquared17 (talk) 23:44, 8 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
Support as in lengthen the list of people who support the idea, or as in continue adding to the demo? (Or both?) Gott wisst (talk) 00:44, 9 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
Well, this is the kind of support that was necessary for Wikivoyage to be launched: Requests for comment/Travel Guide... So we a got a way to go. Gott wisst (talk) 00:47, 9 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
Both probably. Wikivoyage already had its own wiki when it was started, we don't (I just started it here on Meta and a member of the Sister projects committee, who has been quite active on the test, said that it was OK). We should develop the proposal too, define its scope, etc. Feel free to opine on Talk:WikiLang. You can also join a live chat in the "connect" link of #wikilangconnect, but that's not necessary. Do you have any suggestions for the project? When the demo looks nice enough, we might post to the mailing lists. PiRSquared17 (talk) 01:08, 9 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for mentioning WikiLang on several wikis (Wikipedias in ang, nds-nl, qu, kw). PiRSquared17 (talk) 01:56, 11 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
