Translation team fr
editHi. I created a subpage for the French translation team as part of the translation coordination effort. If you consider yourself as a (willing?) active translator (eng-> fra or fra->eng), please add your name on the members' list. Soon, I'll add a selection of pending translation tasks. Thank you!
Bonjour.
Re: Internal
editThanks for letting me know; I've replied there. Flcelloguy (A note?) 23:29, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
Dear Jkelly, could you please add the template messages in OTRS/el to the OTRS system for the greek team? I also asked Bastique but he is probably too busy. Thanks in advance, --Dada 17:02, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
wikt-en-info templates
editI've created some wikt-en-info templates at [WP:OTRS/wikt/en/X] (tell me if that's the wrong convention). Jredmond already added two, but could you add OTRS/wikt/en/Tea room (basically just a modification of the refdesk template) and OTRS/wikt/en/Why was my article deleted? to the wikt-en-info templates? I'd appreciate any input you could give on them, too. Also, could you change the current "refdesk" template to be called "wp-refdesk," as I titled it in OTRS/wikt/en/wp-refdesk, since that is directing the editors to WIkipedia? Thanks a bunch. :-) Dmcdevit 09:40, 7 April 2007 (UTC)

Your account will be renamed
editHello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Jkelly. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Jkelly~metawiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
