Do you have ideas about the reason? --Voll (talk) 14:15, 8 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

There is a limit of 500 items that one can access at once. The page seems to be below that (400+), unless the code loads the same item several times. Maybe the "Too many Wikidata entities accessed." error comes up too early. --Jura1 (talk) 14:38, 8 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
I will try to change the check for human/female. Using the label probably loads these items each time. --Jura1 (talk) 14:55, 8 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
Seems, it doesn't help. I check it on ukwiki - uk:Користувач:Voll/1#Science. --Voll (talk) 15:28, 8 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Module:WikimediaCEETable

edit

Hi, Jura1! In Module:WikimediaCEETable we have such code:

local sex = entity:formatPropertyValues( 'P21' ).value
if sex == 'female' then

but the value in sex variable depends on language and on uk.wikipedia.org it is 'жіноча', so they need to change module code.

Is it possible get not formatted and localized item label, but item identifier (Q6581072 in this case)?

I don't see such code in Lua. Could you please help me with direct load such data from table or may be you know who can create new function (some kind of methodtable.propertyValues) here? --Voll (talk) 10:46, 3 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi @Voll: I'm still learning about LUA, so the code you wrote helped me a lot. I added an approach I tried to avoid loading the items and attempting to get from 400 to 500 items. It didn't work for that, but should be fine for this. --Jura1 (talk) 11:02, 3 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
Heh, your code is marvelous. Thank you so much. --Voll (talk) 19:11, 5 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Endorsement on IEG Grants: AutoresAr

edit

Hi Jura1! I saw you left an endorsement on this grant, but then you took it away by saying "need to think this over". If you want to talk about the project and make any specific or additional comments, I'd love to hear whatever you might think about the project (no strings attached -just want to improve the project as much as I can). Thank you in advance. --Scanno (talk) 22:55, 27 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Wikidata primary sources tool: call for support

edit

Dear @Jura1:

it seems that you have been using the primary sources tool, right?

If you think that the tool needs an uplift, please consider an endorsement of the StrepHit IEG renewal through the following link:

m:Grants:IEG/StrepHit:_Wikidata_Statements_Validation_via_References/Renewal#Endorsements

Feel also free to comment the work plan in the renewal talk page: your thoughts are essential.

Thanks a lot for your time, looking forward to your feedback.
Cheers,
