Over-qualified CSS selectors

edit

My apologies that this message is just available in English.

Over-qualified CSS selectors of portals in Wikimedia skins have been changed. div#p-personal, div#p-navigation, div#p-interaction, div#p-tb, div#p-lang, div#p-namespaces or div#p-variants are now all removed of the div qualifier, as in for example it is #p-personal, #p-navigation …. This is so the skins can use HTML5 elements. Your gadgets or user styles seem to use them and you will have to update them. You can read more in phab:T252467. I've just noticed an issue with one of your en.WT edits

edit

Hello,

When you edited wikt:en:Module:zh-usex in this diff, I think you screwed up the bold tags in line 179. See wikt:en:著實 (which uses the code

{{zh-q|「好 大聖,好 大聖!'''著'''[着]{zhuó}'''實''' 神通廣大,孩兒 戰 不過,又 敗陣 而 來 也!」||ref=Xiyouji}}

for what I'm talking about. Apparently, the '''著'''[着]{zhuó}'''實''' gets rendered as 著</b着实 in Simplified (and transliterated as Zhù</bzhuóshí) and everything's bold for the rest of the entry. Goodness, it looks awful. (I would gladly try fixing that error myself, if only I weren't blocked from en.WT.) Shāntián Tàiláng (talk) 14:59, 5 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Shāntián Tàiláng: Thanks for notifying me, I have fixed it. --Kc kennylau (talk) 15:32, 5 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
You're welcome. Anyway, I also noticed two issues with wikt:en:plagiogranite:
1. It is incorrectly presented as if it were a synonym, rather than a hyponym, of trondhjemite--namely, a type occuring "in the oceanic crust or in ophiolites" (per en.WP).
2. It is missing the fact that it's from wikt:en:plagio- and wikt:en:granite (and that's important for inclusion in wikt:en:Category:English terms prefixed with plagio-).
I also think wikt:en:閃長岩 should have the label "petrology" instead of "mineralogy" (as is the case with wikt:en:閃緑岩 and wikt:en:diorite), but that, I suppose, is another story. Have a nice day! Shāntián Tàiláng (talk) 16:12, 5 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Also, I just noticed that 呉服店 (which I found on a sign in this image) is missing its entry on English Wiktionary. It's a Japanese noun with the reading "ごふくてん" and the meaning of "kimono fabrics shop; draper's shop". Maybe you can get Eirikr to help you with this. Have a nice day!
