Wikis.world account
editHello @Legoktm, I renamed my account on Wikimedia projects, so I would like to change my account on Wikis.world too, for consistency. Perhaps I need to be invited again on Wikis.world, to allow me to migrate to @Una tantum? Or it would be possible you just update my name, instead of me? I don't think the second scenario is possible, but if it is, I prefer it because it would give me less to do!:) Let me know, please. Have a nice day, Una tantum (talk) 10:39, 8 August 2024 (UTC)
- Hello! I still need to change my account. Can you authorize me to create a new account on wikis.world to migrate (invitation is still necessary?), or just change my name, or I have to search for an other instance? Una tantum (talk) 12:40, 28 August 2024 (UTC)
May I have a wikis.world account?
editHello @Legoktm, I'm @Galessandroni (Wikimedia Italy). May I definitive left Twitter & co. and have a beautiful account in wikis.world?
If yes, as username – if is not already used – I prefer Galessandroni, like here. For other information as password and others technical issues, you can provide them to me at <giacomo.alessandroni wikimedia.it>.
Thank you and bye, Giacomo Alessandroni What's up! 14:08, 10 October 2024 (UTC)

Thank you for prosesize!
editThank you so much for making https://prosesize.toolforge.org/ ! I just spent a bunch of time trying to find a tool or data source that would provide me character counts, rather than byte size, for pages on mediawiki.org. I was so excited to find your tool. It seems like this would be a common data need, but all the other dashboards or data sources I've seen use byte size to capture page length, or if they report character counts, they only support a small set of Wikipedias, not mediawiki.org. prosesize will help make it easier to assess the characteristics of our technical documentation!
