- Help Pages Redesign Project — Peter Coombe has created three new introductory tutorials for the English Wikipedia, covering referencing, uploading images, and navigating Wikipedia. He also released the write-up from this summer's in-person usability tests. Continue reading...
- Small Wiki Editor Engagement Project — Tanvir Rahman has been building new step-by-step help pages on Bangla Wikipedia. The help pages will be connected into a portal page and the new help page system will be piloted in September. Continue reading...
- Teahouse Project — We've been working on improvements for hosts, including a simplified new host creation process. HostBot was approved for a trial to send out automated invites to new editors, contributing to a 50% increase in guest participation. Continue reading...

- Small Wiki Editor Engagement Project — Tanvir Rahman launched the new help page system on Bangla Wikipedia with pages that teach editors about new article creation and other popular editing activities. As WMF narrows it's focus, the Fellowships Program will be winding down in early 2013. We'll be investigating other avenues for supporting individuals via grant-making, and meanwhile, Sarah, Steven, and Tanvir will be continuing their projects for several more months, so stay tuned to the News! - Dispute Resolution Project — A Request for Comment closed in favor of a universal DR request wizard and implementation is in development on English Wikipedia. Steven is drafting a second survey to learn what motivates existing DR volunteers, in hopes of increasing the pool of mediators. Continue reading...
