New Page Patrol survey
edit
New page patrol – Survey Invitation Hello Okeyes (WMF)! The WMF is currently developing new tools to make new page patrolling much easier. Whether you have patrolled many pages or only a few, we now need to know about your experience. The survey takes only 6 minutes, and the information you provide will not be shared with third parties other than to assist us in analyzing the results of the survey; the WMF will not use the information to identify you.
Please click HERE to take part. You are receiving this invitation because you have patrolled new pages. For more information, please see NPP Survey. Global message delivery 12:30, 26 October 2011 (UTC) |
I corrected the spelling of "EEditors", then saw the history and realized that you had added that. Just wanted to make sure its not some acronym or some such I'm not aware of. Undone myself, but I guess you should know that it currently looks rather odd... Nolelover 14:07, 15 February 2012 (UTC) Oh, no, my screwup. headdesk! Thanks :). It looks like when I was copying changes over I accidentally delete-and-pasted from immediately after first character, rather than immediately before it. Okeyes (WMF) 14:18, 15 February 2012 (UTC)
Beginning of MassMessage, end of EdwardsBot
editHi. You're being contacted as you're listed as an EdwardsBot user.
MassMessage has been deployed to all Wikimedia wikis. For help using the new tool, please check out its help page or drop a note on Meta-Wiki.
With over 400,000 edits to Wikimedia wikis, EdwardsBot has served us well; however EdwardsBot will no longer perform local or global message delivery after December 31, 2013.
A huge thanks to Legoktm, Reedy, Aaron Schulz and everyone else who helped to get MassMessage deployed. --MZMcBride (talk) 02:36, 22 November 2013 (UTC)

All the best. I hope that you find success, and that we don't lose you permanently from the content and test & challenge space. — billinghurst sDrewth 01:53, 24 February 2016 (UTC)
- Oh, not in the slightest! My first project is getting the Wikipedia article on Aaron Burr to GA status. I have so much work to get done :D. Ironholds (talk) 12:51, 24 February 2016 (UTC)
Original barntar
editIronholds, I appreciate your courage and candor in your explanation for your departure, and in your Signpost op-ed. We've had some agreements and differences over the years. I want you to know that I appreciate your technical work at the Foundation and your transparency about aspects at WMF that need to be addressed. Thank you, and best wishes. --Pine✉ 06:45, 25 February 2016 (UTC)
