URGENT
editCan a global sysop please immediately look into Simple English Wiktionary. An IP keeps attacking me and someone has created an account and is attacking me badly. There are no admins available at the minute. Pkbwcgs (talk) 17:18, 16 February 2018 (UTC)

Allegations of socking
editCheckUser data lasts three months, the only registered account last edited too long ago. IPs can't be checked against accounts (publicly) so there's nothing I can do. What you can do is address the allegations made by myself and J991.
One more thing, I'm not going to force you to do anything (or not do anything), but if you keep up this "I'll try again in x amount of time" you're never going to get anywhere. Hiàn (talk) 22:10, 6 December 2018 (UTC)
- @Hiàn: I can't address any of your allegations when I haven't done any socking. On that day around ten months ago, most of the vandalism came from an someone who was attacking my username. This account's username is a real personal attack towards me and I was not happy as a result of this. The IP addresses which were used to vandalise were not related to me. Also, in your oppose you said that the vandalism stopped "abruptly" right after the RfA. That is not true. My edits between 15 February to 20 February on Simple English Wiktionary can be shown here. From what I can see in that data, the massive amount of reverting vandals stopped on 16 February 2018. I withdrawn on 20 February 2018, four days after I stopped reverting the vandals continuously. In terms of socking, I can't say anything when I haven't done any of the socking. Pkbwcgs (talk) 17:20, 7 December 2018 (UTC)
- Strangely enough, the vandals weren't here before your RFA and they most definitely were gone by the time you "retired" there - something not characteristic of most long-term vandals (that take the time to vandalise with IPs and other registered accounts). The fact is that the vandalism began during your RFA and the reverts you made were used to justify gaining the admin rights. All reverts were made within a ten minute range of the vandalism and all vandalism was happening while you were online, and virtually any experienced anti-vandal would be able to tell that that vandal wasn't experienced in the slightest. I understand if you got upset over the username, but if you really got so worked up over a petty vandal, then how would you have dealt with adminship?
- I'll be willing to drop this, on one condition - drop by IRC and leave me a message. I think there are misunderstandings on both sides here, I'm sure there's information we'd both like to know. Cheers, Hiàn (talk) 00:40, 8 December 2018 (UTC)
- @Hiàn: Which IRC would you like me to drop off a message and I will do that? Pkbwcgs (talk) 09:01, 8 December 2018 (UTC)
- I'm always connected on Freenode as Hian; just PM me there anytime today and we can chat. Hiàn (talk) 14:40, 8 December 2018 (UTC)

- @Hiàn: I apologise that my connection was interrupted. It is not nice to stop at the middle of our chat so I have reconnected to IRC again. Pkbwcgs (talk) 20:00, 8 December 2018 (UTC)
- No worries, I didn't mind at all - I was replying to an email and didn't notice. Besides, I think our conversation had ended, I've dropped the matter. Cheers, Hiàn (talk) 20:09, 8 December 2018 (UTC)

The 2021 Community Wishlist Survey is now open! This survey is the process where communities decide what the Community Tech team should work on over the next year. We encourage everyone to submit proposals until the deadline on 30 November, or comment on other proposals to help make them better. The communities will vote on the proposals between 8 December and 21 December.
The Community Tech team is focused on tools for experienced Wikimedia editors. You can write proposals in any language, and we will translate them for you. Thank you, and we look forward to seeing your proposals!
18:25, 20 November 2020 (UTC)
We invite all registered users to vote on the 2021 Community Wishlist Survey. You can vote from now until 21 December for as many different wishes as you want.
In the Survey, wishes for new and improved tools for experienced editors are collected. After the voting, we will do our best to grant your wishes. We will start with the most popular ones.
We, the Community Tech, are one of the Wikimedia Foundation teams. We create and improve editing and wiki moderation tools. What we work on is decided based on results of the Community Wishlist Survey. Once a year, you can submit wishes. After two weeks, you can vote on the ones that you're most interested in. Next, we choose wishes from the survey to work on. Some of the wishes may be granted by volunteer developers or other teams.
We are waiting for your votes. Thank you!
