Spróbujmy moze wypracować jedną wersję - zobacz Talk:Zasady postępowania w wypadku trollingu
- Ja się przy tym układzie "art. X pkt.
(Nemo iudex idoneus in re sua ;P)
- Art. 4 pkt. 3 - to ostateczność, gdy łagodne metody zawiodą. Trzeba wziąć pod uwagę, że niektórzy są niereformowalni
- Art. 4 pkt. 4 - ma zapobiec otoczce i walkom wokół "zjawisk" typu Xcor/Darzbór i Ergonom/Kwiecień. Dwa przypadki to już prawie reguła.
- Art. 4 pkt. 5 - to dla "miłosiernych"
Art 13 and the rest
editI don't want you to get in trouble for the things we say. Is there any way we can talk with those people who don't agree and explain our concerns? Maybe we need to do a little "explanation" here, and just say that we're not against everyting, but that some things make little sense, or cannot go according to the Wikimedia Foundation. Maybe we should talk to those people directly, either on the wiki or on irc if it's at all possible. Do not hesitate to ask me if you think it is a good idea. We have nothing against the Polish you know ;-). you should have seen the debate while we were doing the French bylaws ;-). Best. notafish }<';> 22:55, 31 August 2005 (UTC)
- Oh, and I was just kidding about "the Foundation does not want that", I don't think the board will say anything against it. This only hurts Wikimedia Polska, not the Foundation. The real question that they have to ask themselves is..how are they going to make sure that someone is a contributor? As soon as they have answered with an answer that makes sense, then I'll be fine with the article. This said, I don't really mind. I just think it is an impossible article to keep up :-). notafish }<';>
- Ok, I answered Julo on the talk page of the English version. Again, do not hesitate to make clear that if this article stays, I won't scream against the bylaws :-). As I said, I just think it is making life difficult for Wikimedia Polska ;-). Thanks for your patience :) notafish }<';> 00:22, 2 September 2005 (UTC)
Fund drive
editThe start of the fund drive has been delayed for at least a few days. The reason is to give us more time to prepare more translations, a press release, donor feedback mechanisms (such as automatically listing new PayPal donations), and work on next quarter’s budget. Sorry for the late notice on this. I will update the translation coordination page with the finalized start and end dates after the board decides that on their Friday 9 December meeting. --Daniel Mayer 21:34, 8 December 2005 (UTC)
Scholarship application!
editThanks for the translation polimerek :-) Warning : we are updating the form a little to make it more clear and less, well, boring. (Update available in 30 min or so.) And we are asking people to fill out the application form in English even though the form itself is being translated (we won't have many translators at the conference, so some basic English proficiency will be useful). Please take a look at the new updated form (of course anyone who sends in the older form will be treated just the same; we just want to make it less of a chore to fill out). editHello. I am a sysop on BG WP and I am from Sofia. I saw your (a bit random :-) ) requests to members of our wikipedian community. How can I help you? Btw I saw another colleague who contacted you but I wouldn't advise you to engage with her in case you want to have your work done. :-D --Spiritia 00:27, 23 November 2007 (UTC)

Translator, We need you!
editDear Polimerek,
You have helped us in previous years with translations and for that we are most grateful. Now we turn towards the 2011/12 fundraiser. It may seem forever away, but work has already begun getting everything ready to go. This year we want to have landing pages covering as many countries in as many languages as possible.
Right now, we want to figure out who is interested in translating for the fundraiser. This year we're hoping to have more of a solidified "core" group of translators that we can count on to have work done by a few key dates, but we'd also welcome help from people who are willing to just help out when they can.
If you would be interested please take a look at this little sign-up survey and fill it out http://survey.wikimedia.org/index.php?sid=13638&newtest=Y&lang=en. With that we can start building a list of people and filling any gaps in the languages we serve.
Many Thanks

WCI Grant
editJust to advise you that we have decided to alter the grant request a bit ([1]). Rather than the $4000 from the bootstrap grant which the chapter will withdraw, we now request $15000 from this grant for the support of Budget A + $25,000 for support of Budget B. The change is due to an internal discussion on the amount of time remaining to raise sponsors. Apologies for any inconvenience caused. Cheers, AroundTheGlobe 16:56, 26 July 2011 (UTC)

Thank you for your translations
editDear Polimerek:
Thank you for helping to translate the WMF Grants Program pages on Meta. Thanks to your efforts, these programs will be accessible to more people all over the world. We would like to send you something in appreciation of your work, so please contact us by Email at grants at wikimedia dot org with your name, shirt size (optional), address for delivery (not a PO Box), and telephone number (for delivery).
We would also like to let you know that our programs are growing and we will need to make some significant changes to these program pages in the next few weeks. When this happens, these pages may need to be retranslated, although much of the new text will be identical or similar to the text you've already translated: you've already translated this text, so you'd be able to copy and paste much from your existing translation. Please consider continuing to support the movement's work in this area, and please continue to let your multilingual friends and colleagues know that this support is still needed as our programs grow!
Please also let us know if you have any feedback for us: it's always welcome.
With appreciation,

Your comments are invited on four current FDC proposals
editHello! As you may know, we've opened the community review period for the current funding round in the Funds Dissemination Committee process. I noticed that in the past you expressed interest in the FDC, since you were a nominee for the committee. I'd like to invite you to review the 4 proposals (totaling $1.3 million USD) that were submitted to the FDC, and to ask questions and share comments about those proposals. You can help to ensure that they have high potential for impact regarding the movement's goals. The FDC especially values comments by community members and will take them into account when they prepare their recommendations. Let me know if you have any questions! --Katy Love, Senior Program Officer, Funds Dissemination Committee, Wikimedia Foundation, 22:36, 14 March 2013 (UTC)

Wikimania Pre-Conference Volunteer Support
editHi Polimerek, I read your comment on our page for the volunteer-support pre-conference just before Wikimania. It would be great if you could share your wikigrants experiences with us during this workshop. Just in order to prepare: How much time would you like me to save for your input? We're still very flexible with the agenda, so we can adapt to your preferences. My very best wishes and I am looking forward to hearing from you, --Muriel Staub (WMCH) (talk) 16:33, 28 July 2014 (UTC)
- Hi Polimerek, great. You can easily take 30 Minutes for your session. I assume you will be at the GAC in the afternoon and would therefore like to do your session in the morning? Let's say at 11am? Best wishes, --Muriel Staub (WMCH) (talk) 09:44, 29 July 2014 (UTC)
- Hi Polimerek, slight changes: Are you ok with starting your session directly at 10:30am on Thursday at the pre-conference? Then we have enough time and you're in no hurry to change to the other location for noon/afternoon. Let me know if this is ok for you. Best,--Muriel Staub (WMCH) (talk) 13:41, 5 August 2014 (UTC)
Wikimania 2014
editHi!
My name is Victor and I'm a storyteller and video producer for the Wikimedia Foundation. I'll be looking to capture stories about Wikimedians at Wikimania in London in a week. Here is an example of the kind of thing that I'm aiming to do. I saw that you're attending Wikimania and I was wondering if you might have some time to talk about what do you on Wikimedia projects. Anyway let me know if you are interested, I'll be at Wikimania from the 6th-10th of August and would need maybe 30 minutes of your time. I can answer any questions you may have. I’m best reached at vgrigas(at)wikimedia.org
Thanks!
Grants:PEG/WM DK/Buying marketing stuff
editHello Polimerek, As you said on the talk about WMDK's grant request it would be a lot cheaper to get it from Poland. Nobody in WMDK speaks polish, so could you help us out in finding a price and order the banners. I think we will opt for one-sided banners and we are working on the design, but if you can get us a quote, that would be great, so we can finish the grant proces. -HenrikKbh (talk) 18:30, 19 November 2014 (UTC)

Global checkuser requested
editDear member of the Ombudsman Commission. Yesterday (July 18) I filed a formal complaint by sending an email to the OC (see here). I've been falsely accused of having a sockpuppet and, in spite of my requests, the checkusers at the Spanish Wikipedia keep on claiming I control Pelayo Calderón account. That's not true and, IMHO, the only way to clarify it is to perform a global checkuser verification in order to compare my alleged sockpuppet editions (AFAIK, all of them in the Spanish Wikipedia) with mine (mostly in commons, but also in wikidata and other wikipedias... possibly there are a few records of mine also in the Spanish Wikipedia). I'm perfectly aware of the expiration of logs and therefore I'd like to get a fast response, as it seems to be the only way to clean my name. I'd like to get, at least, an acknowledgement, as I haven't received any news after sending my email. If necessary, I can contact you by mail. Just let me know. Many thanks into advance --Discasto (talk) 21:34, 19 July 2015 (UTC) PS: I'm leaving this message to all the members of the OC. Sorry for the spam.

This is a message from the Wikimedia Foundation. Translations are available.
As you may know, the Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees approved a new "Access to nonpublic information policy" on 25 April 2014 after a community consultation. The former policy has remained in place until the new policy could be implemented. That implementation work is now being done, and we are beginning the transition to the new policy.
An important part of that transition is helping volunteers like you sign the required confidentiality agreement. All Wikimedia volunteers with access to nonpublic information are required to sign this new agreement, and we have prepared some documentation to help you do so.
The Wikimedia Foundation is requiring that anyone with access to nonpublic information sign the new confidentiality agreement by 15 December 2015 (OTRS users have until 22 December 2015) to retain their access. You are receiving this email because you have access to nonpublic information and are required to sign the confidentiality agreement under the new policy.
Signing the confidentiality agreement for nonpublic information is conducted and tracked using Legalpad on Phabricator. The general confidentiality agreement is now ready, and the OTRS agreement will be ready after 22 September 2015. We have prepared a guide on Meta-Wiki to help you create your Phabricator account and sign the new agreement: Confidentiality agreement for nonpublic information/How to sign
If you have any questions or experience any problems while signing the new agreement, please visit this talk page or email me (gvarnum wikimedia.org). Again, please sign this confidentiality agreement by 15 December 2015 (OTRS users have until 22 December 2015) to retain your access to nonpublic information. If you do not wish to retain this access, please let me know and we will forward your request to the appropriate individuals.
Thank you,
Gregory Varnum (User:GVarnum-WMF), Wikimedia Foundation

Inspire Campaign on content curation & review
editI've recently launched an Inspire Campaign to encourage new ideas focusing on content review and curation in Wikimedia projects. Wikimedia volunteers collaboratively manage vast repositories of knowledge, and we’re looking for your ideas about how to manage that knowledge to make it more meaningful and accessible. We invite you to participate and submit ideas, so please get involved today! The campaign runs until March 28th.
All proposals are welcome - research projects, technical solutions, community organizing and outreach initiatives, or something completely new! Funding is available from the Wikimedia Foundation for projects that need financial support. Constructive feedback on ideas is welcome - your skills and experience can help bring someone else’s project to life. Join us at the Inspire Campaign to improve review and curation tasks so that we can make our content more meaningful and accessible! I JethroBT (WMF) 05:39, 29 February 2016 (UTC)

Thank you for participating in Learning Day, Wikimedia Conference 2016
edit
Thank you for engaging at Wikimedia Conference 2016 Learning Days!
editThrough June, we’re organizing an Inspire Campaign to encourage and support new ideas focusing on addressing harassment toward Wikimedia contributors. The 2015 Harassment Survey has shown evidence that harassment in various forms - name calling, threats, discrimination, stalking, and impersonation, among others - is pervasive. Available methods and systems to deal with harassment are also considered to be ineffective. These behaviors are clearly harmful, and in addition, many individuals who experience or witness harassment participate less in Wikimedia projects or stop contributing entirely.
Proposals in any language are welcome during the campaign - research projects, technical solutions, community organizing and outreach initiatives, or something completely new! Funding is available from the Wikimedia Foundation for projects that need financial support. Constructive feedback on ideas is appreciated, and collaboration is encouraged - your skills and experience may help bring someone else’s project to life. Join us at the Inspire Campaign so that we can work together to develop ideas around this important and difficult issue. With thanks,

editHi and thanks for the reporting I proceeded to report it to User: VLui (WMF) that if it is busy. If you have any doubt Face it well to him.It is not my job to bring the summary of on-wiki discussion here. (Also I'm not an active user on the Chinese Wikipedia so I would not know what to tell you). Thanks and regards. --Samuele2002 (Talk!) 12:54, 19 April 2017 (UTC)
Transparency
editWith respect to my efforts to improve transparency between the WMF and communities, an overview is here. Basically the WMF was planning a project which was going to cost 10s of million of dollars without the movements awareness (they were instead pitching it to potential donors).
Specifically I stated Oct 7th 2017 "There is a serious lack of transparency around this new "sister project". This has not been discussed with our communities as far as I am aware. Please correct me if I am wrong. As such it has the potential to worsen WMF / community relations. Starting a new sister site without community discussion is not the wiki way."[3]
We now have a new ED and are working together as a movement on a strategy partly as a result of these efforts. Best Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 14:49, 10 May 2017 (UTC)
