I think that it's nonsense to waste disk space by sending pages in multiple languages. We need to send all the content in English. I know this is reaching a bit, but if the purpose of sending Wikipedia to a different celestial object is to protect all of the knowledge of humanity, then shouldn't all of the content be in one language? The idea of sending content in various languages is akin to an archaeologist digging up foreign tablets that have portions chiseled in different scripts. It's just needlessly complicating the task of whatever human or whatever other being ultimately decodes this information in the future.

Reminder: 2024 WAM Golden Award Details

edit

Dear 2024 WAM Organizers,

Happy New Year! We are very pleased that this year's Wikipedia Asian Month has successfully concluded. Once your jury members have completed all the evaluations, please kindly visit the page Golden Award to list the participants who made the most contributions, as well as the eligible awardees, so that we can send them barnstars in the future. If your language community was hosting separate subcontests, we sincerely invite you to merge the event results for the purpose of awarding barnstars. Thank you.

Best regards,
