Wolof Wikiquote
editCan someone stop the closure? I want to create articles, I speak Wolof. here. SF-Language 09:57, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
- Please see [1], thanks, --birdy geimfyglið (:> )=| 13:34, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
I see on Requests for permissions#Wikiquote Wolof that you want sysop access to translate the interface: Please translate at Betawiki. You are already translating a language at Betawiki so I thought you would know that it is better to translate at Betawiki. SPQRobin 16:10, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
- Ok, I'll delete the request. SF-Language 16:12, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
- Hmm.. You can still request adminship, I just wanted to notice that it's better to translate at Betawiki. SPQRobin 16:48, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
- I know, that's why I stopped the request. I'm also working on the Lozi interface. SF-Language 16:50, 20 October 2007 (UTC)

editHoi, I noticed that you indicate art-da level 5 .. What language is art ?? Thanks, GerardM 16:09, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
- Artificial Danish, MakkiTa. It's a language based on Dutch, Norwegian, Swedish and Danish. But no code, so I created the test wikipedia at the Incubator Plus :) SF-Language 16:12, 20 October 2007 (UTC)

Subcommittee templates
editHello. Please don't use language subcommittee templates like {{ls-localization}} or add comments using {{ls-header}}, since those are only for official subcommittee messages. You're free to derive a normal comment without the wording which suggests it is official, of course. :) —{admin} Pathoschild 16:46:49, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
- I added it to know which messages don't need to be translated, could you make a new list of not necessary messages for me on the request talk page? SF-Language 17:18, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
- The following messages don't need translation before final approval (although you are free to translate them anyway). The * symbol followed by a number means that several messages beginning with that are unneeded. For example, unlock* (6) means that six messages with names starting with "unlock" (unlockdb, unlockdbtext, unlockconfirm, unlockbtn, unlockdbsuccesssub, and unlockdbsuccesstext) are unneeded. The administrator interface is also optional for the first wiki in a language, but future projects in that language will need to translate it.
- common* (2)
- edittools
- exif-* (273)
- export* (7)
- feed* (2)
- import* (27)
- lock* (8)
- mainpagedocfooter
- mainpagetext
- metadata* (6)
- monobook* (2)
- pagetitle
- unlock* (6)

Volapük Wikipedia
editDear SF-Language, I see you voted against the proposal for closing the Volapük Wikipedia. Although most votes on the discussion page are against the proposal, the supporters seem now to be gaining some momentum, and I thought it was perhaps the right time to try to find others who also think vo.wikipedia should remain open in order to have a chance to grow. So --do you happen to know people who would agree with that, and who might want to show their opinion by casting a vote? Thanks in advance! --Smeira 04:06, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
Babel templates
editHi. Please note that the babel templates are subject to deletion. If you want to keep that old layout, please use subst: until no template is left. Please note additionally, that all categories with proficiency level will be deleted, too. Only the categories "user languagecode" will be kept. Please use the category sorting described in the category header. Thank you for understanding. --Thogo (talk) 18:50, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
- I've already done, I like a little red below my page ;) --SF-Language 18:53, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
