@AstatineEnjoyer: Oh no, please do not feel silly for proposing that! A key part of the proposal stage is discussing these requirements and finding out more information — I really appreciate your comments and suggestions (and empathise with the mobile apps' limitations when it comes to notifications/talk page messages)!
