Off-topic
editHi. I saw your talk page on en.wikipedia, and material that is normal in an article on Wikipedia is off-topic material here at Meta. So for that reason your subpages is deleted. -- Tegel (Talk) 20:59, 6 February 2013 (UTC)
- Is there any way to recover the data? The admins on en explicitly asked me to move it here and deleted it off their end. Am I allowed sandbox pages here? Xkcdreader (talk) 23:41, 6 February 2013 (UTC)
- You can work on material on a subpage to your user page that is intended to be used here. Off-topic material will be deleted. Meta is for coordinating work between all the wikis and is not a sandbox for off-topic material. Here Meta:Inclusion policy you can read more on what material is acceptable and not on Meta. If the material is recovered, where do you plan to work with it? -- Tegel (Talk) 00:22, 7 February 2013 (UTC)
- I got it back from the other end. They told me to try commons, because they care less about people trying to learn how to use the software. Xkcdreader (talk) 09:20, 7 February 2013 (UTC)

Wikibooks might be the best place for that - not sure but critique type stuff might be ok there. Commons is not the place for it - images are the subject matter there. Thanks --Herby talk thyme 09:23, 7 February 2013 (UTC)
