Hi Yassie, thanks for voting here, because of Your statement there I would like to inform You that this is a vote about meta only, there is no connection to Japanese in any way.

Also I saw Your summary on Your talkpage: (no need for welcome message now - though I'm not so active in meta, I've been here for more than a year.)

Please read Meta:About and please take some time to check Aphaias contributions here (editcounter, sysop activity!),
without her we would be lost with the translations into other languages!

I, as a Japanese Wikipedian, cannot trust her at all because of series of her wrongdoings many Japanese Wikipedians have pointed out. Yes it is about meta only, but Aphaia herself utilized her meta adminship as a "title", and acted as if she were "the boss" in Japanese Wikipedia, whereas there is no "bosses" in any Wikimedia projects by the policies. It is NOT a kind of personal attack as she continuously tabbes - I'm just telling the truth. If you think Aphaia is good for you due to her contributions in meta it's fine, but please know the truth. Also, I would appreciate if you persuade her to make an effort to lift her ban in Japanese Wikipedia. Yassie 14:17, 7 January 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for Your answer, I can't judge what happened in ja.wiki, I can only speak for what I have noticed on Meta: Aphaia is a hard working wikimedian who keeps the translations here alive and who is one of the most active meta-admins.

To Your second suggestion: I am curious how could she achieve to get her ban lifted in ja.wikipedia?

Actually it is simple. If she understands why she was banned correctly (it is NOT political matters she claimed in her steward election), apologizes to Japanese Wikipedia members, and promises not to cause the troubles and wrongdoings that lead to the ban anymore, Japanese Wikipedians are willing to unblock her. Considering what she has stated in her steward election, it is obvious she does not even make an effort to lift her ban.

Now additional comments here. You said without her we would be lost with the translations into other languages, but nobody has to be an admin to translate the articles. I am not an admin in either of Japanese or English Wikipedias, nor in Commons, but I translate many articles, mainly about American cities, from English Wikipedia to Japanese Wikipedia, using lots of images uploaded onto Commons. Adminship and translation are totally different from, and irrelevant to each other. At least I do not think it will be the reason to support her adminship. Yassie 14:40, 7 January 2008 (UTC)

Even considering organization of translators, it is not relevant to adminship. Adminship is just a logical access matter for certain features of Wikimedia, such as deletion, blocking, etc. It is not a "title" to act like "the boss" that she kept doing in Japanese Wikipedia, either. However, any admins need trust. My reasons to propose removal of her adminship are quite simple - 1) I do not trust her, and either do not many Japanese Wikipedians, and 2) she actually abused the adminship, in that she continuously told us to obey her, taking advantages of her adminship in meta. Again, it's fine if you trust Aphaia, but please do not try to turn me, and/or any other Japanese Wikipedia users to do so without persuading her to make her own effort to lift her ban. Please don't make assumptions like "organization of translators is not relevant to adminship" if You are not familiar with the process, I can assure You that the admin-tools are needed for organizing translations, as You said correctly: for deletions, for being able to edit MediaWiki-message, protections etc...

I can also assure You that Aphaia has no "boss" attitude as You call it here.

Her abuse of adminship was not abuse of admin tools. She was not an admin in Japanese Wikipedia anyway. I meant "abuse" was her behavior in Japanese Wikipedia that she used meta adminship as the "title" or "authority" to act like "the boss". If she did not do so it's good, but she actually did that in Japanese Wikipedia. I wonder why she acted so differently between in meta and in Japanese Wikipedia, though.
