Wikimedia CEE Meeting 2022 submission
editDear Zachary,
On behalf of the Wikimedia CEE Meeting 2022 programme committee, I am pleased to inform you that your submission "Wikipedia, Education, and Information Literacy" has been accepted as a lecture. Considering that the conference will have language interpretation from English into Russian and vice versa, you have the choice between English and Russian as a language that you will use in your session. If you have not yet registered for the conference, please fill in the registration form. In case you have any additional requests or questions, do not hesitate to contact me or any other committee member.
Best regards.--Kiril Simeonovski (talk) 12:38, 26 August 2022 (UTC)
- Hi Kiril! Thank you! I will definitely be using English in my session. One question about the registration, which group do I choose as I am not an affiliate of local Wikimedia organizations, and the Chicago Wikimedians group is ostensibly defunct/on pause. I am attending as a researcher, teacher, and an independent Wikimedian. ZachMcDowell (talk) 12:55, 26 August 2022 (UTC)
- Hi Zachary. In that case, you can perhaps select the “Other” option and specify this there. You can also insert your academic affiliation that you used in the submission. Best regards.--Kiril Simeonovski (talk) 22:31, 26 August 2022 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, I will no longer be able to attend. It turns out that flights from Tallinn are not easy to find and my schedule here has become more hectic. I am not exactly sure how to "cancel" here. ZachMcDowell (talk) 06:28, 28 September 2022 (UTC)
