With a mission of inspiring all to read for pleasure, the festival is a platform for open dialogue, forward thinking and promotes a more empathetic society. She is also the General Manager of ELF Publishing, the publishing house under the Emirates Literature Foundation umbrella with a mission to publish strong regional narrative that deserve to be read. Ahlam is the leader of the UAE Wikimedia User Group and founder of the Kateb Maktub movement which cultivates free information culture and enriches Arab authors data online.

He is a project manager at ELF, focusing on different educational initiatives like Reading for Pleasure project for schools with the Ministry of Education in the UAE and Kateb Maktub initiative that works on enriching the data of the Arab authors in the digital sphere. He has joined the UAE UG in 2021 and is an active member in organizing Wiki events and pursuing partnerships with Universities and cultural institutions to get new Wikimedians.

She spent her early career in Child Education, both as a teacher and later on as Nursery Administrator. Dania enjoys reading stories to young children in both Arabic and English, is an avid reader, long time book club member and a puzzle aficionado. She now heads the Education Department at the Emirates Literature Foundation and is on a mission to instil a love of reading and books within every child she encounters. Dania is a member of Wikimedians of UAE User Group and has been a contributor to Wikipedia since 2020.

He organizes many events for the Arab community, including global photo contests and Wikipedia Education Program in Algeria. He co-founded WikiMOOC with a group of volunteers, a Wikipedia editing course in Arabic with 10,000 registrars and he chaired the organizing committee for the first WikiArabia in Algeria.

Also I’m a member of Wikimedians of the Levant. In addition to this, I’m one of the members of Arabic Wikipedia's social networking team. I am currently a Steward, a Bureaucrat and Sysop on Arabic Wikipedia, Sysop on Wikidata and Commons. Most of my work on Wikipedia is in medicine, anatomy and biology.

She also organized the 2nd edition of the WikiArabia which was held in Amman in 2015. In terms of editing, she has created more than 1,800 articles in Arabic, and has more than 150,000 edits in Arabic.

She managed to scale her way up to WM through hard work and perseverance in Arabic WP, where her passion started. WP is still her favorite encyclopedia and she volunteered in Wikimedia alongside it. She showed nothing but genuine, hard work while reviewing participants’ contributions, as she’s well aware of the importance of her and everyone else's roles.
