The Bashkir Wikigrannies decided to write a series of articles about the museums of Bashkortostan, as well as about the famous museums of other countries that are not yet written in the Bashkir language on this date. We invite members of our user group in other countries to also take part: Narine Muradyan, Başak, Violetova, Camelia.boban, Yupik

My dears, WikiDonne's edit-a-thon in Italian Wikipedia for the International Museums Day finished on May 20th ad midnight. The result is of 17 new articles, and 8 improved. From the new ones, three are museums in Bashkortostan: the National Museum of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Nesterov Art Museum in Ufa, Majit Gafuri Memorial House, and one is the biography of poet and writer Majit (Mazit) Gafuri. --Camelia (talk) 07:39, 21 May 2020 (UTC)

- Today, i wanted to visit an old friend of mine. She is known as Gypsy Girl. It's actually a mosaic found under a column in middle of the ruins nearby the village of Belkis in south east of Turkey in 1998. She is more than 1800 years old but her deep looks are still very alive. I had visited her in Gaziantep Archeology Museum many years ago and today i visited the Wikipedia article on her (yes, she has a Wikipedia article tr:Çingene Kızı). The article reminded me that in 2011, she was moved from Gaziantep Archeology Museum to a new museum built as the biggest museum of the history of Turkish Republic: Zeugma Mosaic Museum. She is the proud hostess of this large museum, welcoming more than 250.000 visitors a year but i've learned that her home is not the largest museum of Turkey any more! 3 years later an even larger mosaic museum was built neighbour city, Hatay: Hatay Archeology Museum. I am surprised to see that Hatay Archeology Museum Wikipedia article exists in only 6 languages. And even more surprised to see German Wikipedia article was more detailed than Turkish one! Now, i will continue navigating the museum articles and work on updating/expanding information on them. Many people who can't go visiting museums because of the pandemic might be wandering around the Wikipedia pages instead, and our volunteer work might help them have a good experience. I suggest Bashkir wikigrannies to write about en:Hatay Archaeology Museum, en:Zeugma Mosaic Museum as well. Basak (talk) 13:23, 14 May 2020 (UTC)

Создали список из 100 музеев Башкортостана в Башкирской Википедии, продолжаем пополнять.
