Once again UK-based Wikimedians are trying to stage a bid to bring Wikimania to the United Kingdom. This page and its subpages document progress. To get involved it might be a good idea to join the Wikimedia UK mailing list or at least view the updated archives.

• Variety of options in the University of Manchester - Renold building/Manchester conference centre in the city centre, University Place in the University of Manchester (close to city centre), which is currently in construction, and other locations in the University, including Whitworth Hall.

Prices: Renold building - £34 (plus VAT) per person per day (including lunch); en-suite B&B accommodation £38.50 (plus VAT) pp pd (in university halls). University Place is similarly priced (however, accommodation may not be available on-or-adjacent-to site).
