| Abstract:
In September 2023 basic information about Wikimania 2024 will be known to the public (dates, theme, venue etc), but a lot will still be in the works (programme tracks, partnerships, scholarships etc). Core Organizing Team wants to share updates about the work on Wikimania 2024 with the CEE communities and look for partners (individual community members as well as Wikimedia Affiliates) and team members responsible for work portfolios as the timeline progresses. |

| How will this session be beneficial for the communities in the region of CEE?
Wikimania 2024 follows a regional structure and hopes to represent all communities from the CEE region and offer them a platform to present themselves to the entire Wikimedia Movement. It is our hope that chapters, user groups and communities of the CEE find an interesting piece of Wikimania for themselves and will add their expertise to this diverse event so that everyone can benefit from it. | |||
