Wikimedia Ghana User Group/About
The Wikimedia Ghana User Group (WMGH) is a nonprofit affiliate of the Wikimedia Foundation, with the mission of promoting and improving access to educational content in Ghana especially Wikipedia and other Wikimedia project wikis. The group initially began as the Planning Wikimedia Ghana in 2012, which was granted permission to use Wikimedia trademarks for outreach activities. In 2014, it transitioned to a user group, and later in 2020, became a registered nonprofit organization.
