Requests for help from a sysop or bureaucrat (at Meta-Wiki only)

Meta-Wiki has a small active community. When a normal user requires the assistance of an administrator or bureaucrat for some particular task, it is not always easy to find one. This page helps users find one when they need one; asking specific admins directly via their talk pages is one way to elicit a fast response. It is only for assistance required at Meta-Wiki, help for other wikis needs to be requested at those wikis.

• Before posting to this page, make sure your comment doesn't belong at one of these specific request pages:

Technical request on template

Sorry if this is not the best venue, I couldn't see a more appropriate location to post a technical request. Steward requests/Global has a subpage at Steward requests/Global/Archivefooter that is used to display links to the archived requests, but it is not working properly and the archiving bot is not archiving requests (e.g. Steward requests/Global/2025-w1 exists, but Steward requests/Global/2025-w2 does not). • According to Special:PrefixIndex/Steward_requests/Global/2025-w it looks like the naming convention may have updated slightly, so it looks like the requests are being archived, just the index is missing? @Koavf: can you provide an example of a request that was not archived (the more recent the better). — xaosflux ^Talk 17:05, 27 January 2025 (UTC)

  As you can see at Steward requests/Global/2025-w1, that page has not been updated for 28 days (i.e. the end of 2024) and all of the requests were posted in 2024, so all of the requests that I have made this year are not visible in these archives, e.g. https://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Steward_requests/Global&oldid=28179466#Global_lock_for_Ali_8409759834954tet3.
