About me

Hello! My name is Hussein Issa. I am a Tanzanian youth, a volunteer editor. Currently i am a Project Leader at GWEI where my passion about contributing to Wikimedia Educational projects is cultivated and vision of making the sum of all human knowledge available to every person in the world is a matter of importance.

I am a certified Kiwix4Schools trainer and i am an approved Ambassador in my country,looking forward in achieving a lot in here.

My work

I started participating in Wikimedia movement in 2020, when one of my friend introduced me to Wikipedia editing, and from that day my life changed.

In early 2024, I led the first Kiwix4Schools project in Dodoma, Tanzania. I’m grateful for the support I received and remain committed to bringing Kiwix to more schools in need.

I’m an Administrator at my (Swahili) Wikipedia so there's a chance we've crossed paths before… hopefully not because I had to block you! (Just kidding… or am I? 😆)
