User script to access other watchlists

If you remember, you participated in the 2019 Community Wishlist Survey, including the discussion for reviving "Crosswatch" to allow for cross-wiki watchlists (Community Wishlist Survey 2019/Watchlists/Revive Crosswatch tool).
I sent you this MassMessage because I wanted to let you know that I have made a user script to make accessing your watchlists on different wikis easier, since for now that wishlist item has not been actioned.
The way it works is that, on any wiki, when you look at your watchlist, there is a button labeled "CA" that takes you to the CentralAuth page for you. There, when looking at your own information, each link to a wiki ("meta.wikimedia.org", "www.wikidata.org", "de.wikipedia.org", etc.) is changed so that it links to your watchlist on that wiki.
If you are interested in using it, just add mw.loader.load('//meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:DannyS712/Watchlist.js&action=raw&ctype=text/javascript'); to your global javascript page. This imports the code at m:User:DannyS712/Watchlist.js.

Community Wishlist Survey 2020

I wanted to let you know that this year's survey is now open for proposals. You can suggest technical changes until November 11. Unlike previous years, we are only accepting proposals for non-Wikipedia content projects with no dedicated teams (i.e., Wikibooks, Wiktionary, Wikiquote, Wikisource, Wikiversity, Wikispecies, Wikivoyage, and Wikinews). You can learn more on the survey page.

West Bengal Wikimedians open for community request

Hi CAPTAIN RAJU!
You are receiving this message because you have signed as a General member of the West Bengal Wikimedians User Group.
Like previous years, we are asking our members again to request for support if they wish to plan and execute Wikimedia projects or activities during next year, which require funding. We are open for such requests until November 30, 2020. Based on the fund requests from the community members, the user group will place Rapid grant proposal to Wikimedia Foundation. If the rapid grant request is approved, funds will be allocated to the community members accordingly.
We can only approve request for volunteers who are from West Bengal and is limited to activities where in some way, West Bengal is included. The decision to approve or disapprove your request will be handled by Representative members of the user group.

The 2021 Community Wishlist Survey is now open! This survey is the process where communities decide what the Community Tech team should work on over the next year. We encourage everyone to submit proposals until the deadline on 30 November, or comment on other proposals to help make them better. The communities will vote on the proposals between 8 December and 21 December.
The Community Tech team is focused on tools for experienced Wikimedia editors. You can write proposals in any language, and we will translate them for you. Thank you, and we look forward to seeing your proposals!

We invite all registered users to vote on the 2021 Community Wishlist Survey. You can vote from now until 21 December for as many different wishes as you want.
In the Survey, wishes for new and improved tools for experienced editors are collected. After the voting, we will do our best to grant your wishes. We will start with the most popular ones.
We, the Community Tech, are one of the Wikimedia Foundation teams. We create and improve editing and wiki moderation tools. What we work on is decided based on results of the Community Wishlist Survey. Once a year, you can submit wishes. After two weeks, you can vote on the ones that you're most interested in. Next, we choose wishes from the survey to work on. Some of the wishes may be granted by volunteer developers or other teams.

Speedy deletion requests
editHi CAPTAIN RAJU, thanks for keeping an eye on recent changes!
Please be more careful when tagging user pages for speedy deletion. You're usually tagging user pages as „spam“ even though most were clearly not spam [1][2] – even if those pages got deleted, that's usually not because they were „spam“ (as you were claiming) but rather because they were simply out of project scope [3][4][5][6][7].
As these are usually user pages of newbies, preciseness is important: wrongly claiming a user page is „spam“ might discourage newbies from editing. „Spam“ implies bad intent while „out of scope“ just implies that people created their user page without knowing our rules.
While we're at it: Even some of your „out of project scope“ deletion requests got declined [8], please read Meta:Inclusion policy and Global user pages#Content to make sure which content is actually out of project scope. Johannnes89 (talk) 23:43, 5 March 2023 (UTC)
Invitation to have a conversation as West Bengal Wikimedians User Group General Member

As we are nearing our next annual general meeting in a few days, we wanted to have a conversation with the general members of the group regarding our past projects and events and future initiatives, ways of engagement with the group and our bylaws, so that we can take your valuable feedback and plan for next year.
We will arrange for the online meeting on 23rd December, 2023 Saturday at 7 pm Indian Standard Time. You can join the meeting from this link. West Bengal Wikimedians User Group held its 2024 Annual General Meeting yesterday

We are sending you this message as you have signed up as a general member of the West Bengal Wikimedians User Group. We would like to inform you that the user group has organized its 2024 Annual General Meeting of Representative Members yesterday at the Birla Industrial & Technological Museum, Kolkata. In this meeting, we have adopted revised bylaws based on the feedback and suggestions coming from our members (see changes) and selected 10 new Representative Members based on the objective criteria set in the bylaws with regards to their recent or overall online and offline contributions. A new Representative Committee has also been formed while replacing 3 out of 5 members, who have completed their full term tenure for this responsibility. The participants have also shared learning from the projects taken from previous year and shared plans about new projects which they are willing to take during this year on behalf of the user group. We are also introducing a mentorship program from this year, where willing general members can work together with our program leads in user group programs and learn from each other. So, stay tuned for more excitements!
