The Wikimedia+Libraries International Convention 2025 (WikiLibCon25) will gather Wikimedians, Wikibrarians, information professionals, library workers, and mission-aligned partners from around the globe. The convention aims to create a vibrant community and promote collaborative projects in the library and Wikimedia sphere.

The Convention is organized and hosted by the Wikimedia and Libraries User Group in close collaboration with the Wikimedia Mexico and Wikimedia Foundation (WMF).

The Wikimedia+Libraries International Convention 2025 will be held from 15 to 17 January 2025 in Mexico City, Mexico.

Registration period

• Registration period for self-funded participants and for everyone else begins: October 27, 2024, 00:00 (UTC+4). Registration closes when we reach the number of 110 participants, so register as soon as possible.

Registration process

The registration process is one step and simplified.

Self-funded attendees, invited guests, librarians, and all other attendees can register using the Registration Form (given below). For your convenience, you can find all the questions on the form here.

Registration is required for everyone (including scholarship recipients) to participate in the Wikimedia+Libraries International Convention 2025.
