- Organize online meetings and local events to help keep Wikimedians in touch with one another.
- Promote more active participation among local Wikimedians.
- Promote Wikipedia and Wikimedia in media and local events.
Since February 2023, the Wikimedians of Colorado User Group has sponsored quarterly online meetings for the Wikimedians of the United States Mountain West in cooperation with WikiProject Arizona, WikiProject Colorado, WikiProject Idaho, WikiProject Montana, WikiProject Nevada, WikiProject New Mexico, WikiProject Utah, and WikiProject Wyoming.
