The Cantonal and University Library of Fribourg (BCUF) organizes a Wikipedia atelier in combination with the visit of "Les (in)connues", which introduces six women who have contributed to its history. This event is lead by Galahmm, co-founder of the Noircir Wikipédia project and secretary of Les sans pagEs, with the participation of the Museum of Art and History of Fribourg (MAHF) and the support of Wikimedia CH. The 56. Edition of the Solothurner Filmtage Switzerland will take place in an online format. The collective «Who writes his_tory?» organizes a Wikipedia Edit-a-thon around the topics Women in Film and Women Filmmakers. The workshop takes place on January 26th from 10am onwards. On the occasion of the exhibition "Women Pioneers. An Appreciation" the Historical Museum in Olten, presents women from several centuries who helped to shape society within the scope of the possibilities at that time. Luisa Bertolaccini from the Historical Museum in Olten, has accepted to exclusively lead us through the closed exhibition via video streaming in German language. The Historical Museum Lucerne presents the exhibition "Having a Voice". The Wikipedia Edit-a-thon is accompanied by the collective «Who writes his_tory?», with the support of Art + Feminism. The ETH Library Zurich has started a specific WikiProject regarding portraits of professors and their respective biographies. The ETH Library has digitized over 900 portraits and uploaded the collection to Wikimedia Commons. The Wikipedia Edit-a-thon is accompanied by Diego Haettenschwiler, a very active Wikipedian and Member of Wikimedia CH. The Edit-a-thon at Zurich tanzt is a cooperation between SAPA, the Swiss Archives on Performing Arts, Zurich tanzt, Wikimedia CH and «Who writes his_tory?». On May 17, SAPA will present the Zurich dance film role online with video excerpts from pieces by Zurich dancers from 1979 to 2000. On May 30, 2021 from 10 am to 4 pm, a Wikipedia Edit-a-thon will be carried out, in which systematic contributions to the dance professionals will be created or improved. Femmes du Jura bernois Mémoires d'Ici, the archive and documentation center of Bernese Jura, upon the invitation of the Réseau égalité francophone of canton Bern, in charge of gender equality, organizes with Wikimedia CH a Wikipedia writing workshop focused on women from Bernese Jura and their fields of excellence.
In collaboration with the think tank foraus - Swiss Forum on Foreign Policy, Wikimedia CH organizes an in-person 2-day writing workshop whose aim is to give visibility to women in the field of international affairs and foreign policy.
