En tant que représentant·e·s d'affiliés et d'organisations à travers le Mouvement Wikimédia, nous avons été impressionné·e·s par l'immense travail et le dévouement de Camelia Boban, fondatrice de WikiDonne sur la Wikipédia italienne en 2016. WikiDonne a été créé en 2016 par Camelia pour participer à HerStory et est géré par le groupe d'utilisateurs WikiDonne et d'autres utilisateurices impliqué·e·s dans des activités visant à améliorer la diversité et à combler le gender gap dans le mouvement wikimedia. Nous le faisons maintenant en pensant qu'elle devrait avoir l'opportunité de contribuer à nouveau car un blocage indéfini est une sanction si sévère qu'elle n'est appliquée que pour des actions très problématiques.

C'est pourquoi étant donné que Camelia Boban a joué entretemps de nombreux rôles dans le mouvement Wikimedia où nous l'avons trouvée très fiable et positive, et que son blocage a également un impact sur la façon dont nous pouvons mener des projets utiles sur le fossé des genres dans plusieurs langues, nous demandons à la communauté italienne de reviser son cas et de lui donner l'opportunité que nous pensons qu'elle mérite.

  1. Féliciter Camelia Boban - et toutes les personnes impliquées dans le projet WikiDonne - pour le travail accompli et le niveau d'engagement et de réussite.
  2. Demander à la communauté italienne de revoir la sanctioa et de la réduire à une durée acceptable qui donnerait à Camelia l'opportunité de contribuer, maintenant que du temps a passé et que tous et toutes ont réfléchi à l'impact sévère d'un blocage indéfini.

Nous nous réjouissons que Camelia Boban et WikiDonne puissent se concentrer sur leur important travail de création d'une encyclopédie en langue italienne meilleure et plus complète, plus représentative des différentes perspectives et expériences vécues.

The severity in this case is emblematic of the way women who stand up for more justice and fair representation in the movement are faced with. Harrassers of minorities, feminist, queer contributors are left free to roam under the predicaments of free speech, whereas women and LGBTIQ+ contributors are harshly treated for just voicing an opinion on assertive and affirmative ways, being called uncooperative and disruptive when they do so.     Well @Slowking4, at its time this article was translated in Italian, but flagged for deletion one minutes after it was published. Because considered autoreferential, an original research, a non problem or a "not our problem" (but of enwiki's only).     WikiDonne is also prevented from receiving notifications for women bios and arguments about women targeted for deletion, that all projects - based on their work topic - receive in itwiki.   55. I was indeffed myself, and on a project that for years and despite several denied unblocking requests didn't tell me I was allowed to edit with another account. The blocking admin then told me this on meta when I opposed him because of my denied unblocking request when he wanted to become a steward. I hope Italian Wikipedia community finds an acceptable balanced solution to the specific issue perceived as serious that does not involve blocking of an otherwise very constructive user with valuable contribution our itWP colleagues could actually be very proud of having in their midst. To @Camelia.boban:: We are impressed with what you have done yourself, inspired others you know and more of those you haven't met from various corners of the globe. Onwiki or offwiki - you move mountains. Thanks for all you've done for individuals, language and thematic communities in my part of the world. As for the local block in your homewiki - I myself would have preferred to have stayed indef blocked in mine, than having to become an admin and deal with the mess to keep community going after external intervention to give me the chance to edit that I specifically warned initiators against.
