Wikipedia logo in each language

edit

Hey Verdy p. Wow, great work with Wikipedia logo in each language! I've actually been working on collecting slogans for all the Wikimedia logos on a subpage of mine. I think all of the Wikipedia ones on that page are the most up-to-date (there are both corrections to the original translation and new translations for some missing languages on there), so you might want to sync the translations on Wikipedia logo in each language with my subpage. I was planning on doing this myself when I finished the chart, or getting rid of that page, but now that you've expanded the page, it would be great if you could update the translations. :-) Cbrown1023 talk 19:07, 24 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Note that some logos in some wikipedia are questionable. Notably I have been looking for the correct translation in the Dzongkha language, and the logo seems really incorrect (too many ts’ég signs, incorrect vowel signs, extra questionable consonnants, and very poor rendering). verdy_p 21:02, 24 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
I am trying to find the appropriate fonts for non-Latin scripts. Ideally, the italic style should be restored for Latin/Script/Cyrillic, I'm trying to document those scripts where they work correctly with the documetned fonts.
I am updating the Logo template page (which should really become a true template... but I did not rename it). verdy_p 21:02, 24 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
