위키백과는 190만 개 이상의 전기를 호스팅합니다. 그 중 20% 미만이 여성과 논바이너리 사람들에 관한 것입니다. 여성과 논바이너리 사람들의 인용, 사진, 관점은 위키백과에서 비슷한 격차를 보입니다. 위키백과가 인간 지식의 총합이 되고 싶다면 변화가 필요합니다. 이렇게 성별 격차가 크기 때문에 우리는 이 목표를 달성하기가 어렵습니다. 세계 여성의 날은 여성과 모든 소수 집단의 성별 격차를 상기시키고 모든 사람의 대표성을 보장하기 위한 우리의 노력을 새롭게 하는 중요한 순간입니다.
